If you’re brave, sleep in the actual prison cells! This property has an additional purpose-built building with ensuite private rooms for luxurious travellers. Perfectly preserved Victorian-style guards’ cottages are also available.

Really clean and spacious showers/ bathrooms! Really cool place to stay, about a 5 minute walk to the centre and 15 minutes to the harbour/ station. Perfect for a trip to Rottnest! The only downside is the lack of activities / socialising. Everyone keeps themselves to themselves so activities would bring people together I’m sure. Other than that. Recommend!

Great hostel, all the common areas & bathrooms are really clean, the rooms are quite small & there’s not much of an atmosphere which is good if you just want a chill hostel. Enjoyed my stay here and the staff are friendly, the kitchen is spacious & clean too, my biggest complaint would be that I was there for over a week and they never hoovered/cleaned the room (apart from changing the beds, obviously)

It's a great place to stay and explore. Great location, full of history and activities to do. Staff is such nice and helpful. Free luggage storage. I will totally recommend it to friends.
