The shopping centre, the old city and the splendid cathedral of the XIII century are situated between 100 and 500 meters from our hotel.
Olympic Museum: 3 km by foot or by metro from the centre of the city to the endstop 'Ouchy'.

Our hotel is within walking distance of the Palais de Beaulieu (congress centre, exhibitions, etc.) - close to private clinics and the University Hospital (CHUV).

Very good location with great staff. My only concern was someone tried to enter my room at 8:50 in the morning. Luckily I had a doorstop with me.

The hotel is very dated, however the location is perfect, right in the centre of town. Be prepared to have to pay extra for the 'city tax' which isn't included in the hostelworld price! One of the ladies at the desk is very patronising and not at all friendly, which for the price of this hotel is kind of shocking. Also no air-con.
