The Eagles is a traditional inn offering real ales and a very friendly atmosphere; a perfect setting for relaxing after a hard day in the hills.
Our comfortable accommodation is on the top floors within The Eagles. We have five rooms each sleeping 4, three rooms sleeping 2 and one room sleeping 3. All rooms are private (no sharing with strangers) centrally heated and have tea/coffee making facilities. Duvets, pillows and sheets are supplied. There are two separate showers, a bathroom and two wash-rooms/toilets. A self catering kitchen is available for your use and we have a secure storage for bikes etc.
Our welcoming bar serves a range of real and keg beers.
Surrounded by mountain scenery the hostel lies on the edge of the peaceful village of Penmachno, in a secluded valley 4 miles south of Betws-y-coed at the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. Snowdon itself is about 15 miles away.
The Eagles policies & conditions;
Cancellation policy: 48h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the whole price of your stay. The property may pre-authorize your card before arrival.
Check in from 17:00 to 21:00. Anything outside of
these can be arranged with the owner first.
Check out before 10:00 .
Payment upon arrival by cash, credit cards, debit cards.
Taxes included.

The location was brilliant for us. The only thing we did not like was that the bar/pub were close Mondays and Tuesdays and that was two days that we have stayed. Other than that everything else was amazing.

I enjoyed my stay at the Eagles. The host was welcoming and gave a good introduction to the area. The room itself was well sized for a solo traveller and was comfortable enough. The communal toilet was clean and well stocked. The shower I used did have black mould growing which is why I score a little lower. But all in all, if I were over this way again, I would happily use again.
