Hostel Centar is located in Zagreb, in the very centre and close to all major sights. Placed in a historic building, this hostel was renovated in 2016 and features traditional decorations and modern facilities. Free Wi-Fi is provided.
Some rooms at Centar Hostel are air-conditioned and feature a seating area. They all have access to a shared bathroom with a shower. Guests can also use the shared fully equipped kitchen as well as a shared lounge area with a TV.
Numerous restaurants, bars and shopping streets can be reached in just a short walk.
The central Ban Jelačić Square can be reached in just 250 m, while the Cathedral is 100 m away. Fresh food market Dolac can also be reached in just 150 m. Grocery shops can be found within a few steps.
The hostel is 5.5 km from Zagreb Arena, while Pleso Airport is 18 km away. Good tram connections are available with the nearest tram stop being just 50 metres from Centar Hostel. Main Train Station is 800 m away.

Mysigaste hostel!! När vi kom fram öppnade först ingen då vi ringde på, men efter att vi ringde upp numret till reception kom personalen väldigt snabbt! Personalen ger en mycket bra info. Perfekt läge mitt i centrum av Zagreb. Ganska litet men oerhört hemtrevligt. Och så sköna sängar!! Även toalett och dusch var bra. En av våra bästa boenden hittills.

This is a joyless place to stay. Even the guests are miserable - understandable given the fact it's not a real hostel - just a load of very small hot rooms squeezed into the attic of an old building. Staff are rarely there. You are home alone. Case in point - found new guest sitting on floor outside the door unable to raise anyone using door bell or on phone. She was close to tears - been travelling and was exhausted. No common area, tiny shower and toilets. Everything cheapest possible. Avoid!

No AC though promised. It was unplugged, looking like an attempt to save power, rather than actually bring broken, like they claimed. Otherwise fine experience.
