HostelQ is located in the heart of Namba, Osaka. It boasts a close proximity to major sightseeing areas in Osaka, as well as being conveniently located within walking distance of public transport facilities.
We have a fully functioning kitchen which guests are welcome to use. A bar within the hostel will also provide the perfect atmosphere to make friends and interact with other guests before enjoying Osaka's night life. Takoyaki is also available which a specialty food of Southern Osaka.

One of the first things I saw when I checked in was one of the workers scrubbing the bathroom clean. So I knew it was a god place. People were very helpful and accomodating. The two things that I liked the most were the excellent location (5 minutes from 2 subways, 3 railways, and the Dotonbori) and the great kitchen. A few more toilets would have made this stay perfect. In fact, it was so good, we came back for four more days!

One of the worst hostel experience I've ever had. This is a budget hostel but really, if you pay A LITTLE more, you can have much better than this as Japan has full of nicer hostels and capsule hotels. I regret that I didn't spend more time on searching accommodations and sit on this. This one is nicely located in the heart of Dotonbori, but this is a bit sketchy area. And the smell in front of the elevator on the female floor(3rd) is disgusting. Does someone pee there everyday or something??
