This place really was amazing, but we visited in late November. The center of the building is open to the air and the windows are not airtight, so it got REALLY cold at night. Any other time of year, no problem (our room did have an AC unit for summer) - I really a very low-key, fun vibe on a budget:)

My friend and I stayed in a private 2 bed room. Didn't feel very secure - the doors are only locked using an old fashioned key- not a modern door key, it's like a "skeleton key" (Google it)... Basically, you could jam anything small into the keyhole and the door would unlock. The vibes were very friendly so we weren't too worried, but if I was staying longer, it would have bothered me. Very basic facilities, clean enough.
