The hostel smelled really muck of weed all of the time. It also had mice running around in the doorm rooms.

I'f you want a place where it is easy to meet people this is not the place for you. There is hardly a place to hang out and the rooms are really small. But the location is fantastic and it is descent enough for a sleeping place. There are better hostels but maybe not for this price!

International Budget Hostel säger
We're in a traditional canal building just around the corner from Leidseplein, which is one of the main nightlife and entertainment areas in Amsterdam. On a 10-minute walk you can find some of the main museums, such as Anne Frank House, the Van Gogh museum and the Rijksmuseum. In a 15-minute walk you're in the heart of the Red Light District. On a warm day, I think the Vondelpark is a wonderful place to hang out, and if you're looking for quirky souvenirs the Flower Market is a great place to go.
We offer guests the opportunity to book several tours, like free city tours, bike tours and pub crawls. We also rent out bikes to guests.
We pay a lot of attention to detail here here and hygiene is a priority. Because it's a hostel there's not much luxury, but you can definitely expect to have a clean bed and shower.
