There is only good things to say about this place. A bit expensive, but you def get what you pay for in san pedro. Nice beds and many blankets. Clean and hot showers. Wonderful breakfast! Nice staff. Clean, well equiped kitchen. Free coffee and tea all day! We ended up staying more days than expected. Would recommend! And would stay here again.

Mamatierra was one of the best hostel experiences I've had. The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful, and knew me by name. Everything was very clean and the shared dorm rooms were big enough that it did not feel cramped even in a shared space. Breakfast is included and they will pack you a snack if you have to leave early for a tour. It's not right in town but it's also not a far walk from the main street, and I always felt safe walking even at night. Would definitely recommend!!!
