Day Hostel

The rooms are very small but I do consider them as very fresh and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The location is absolute top class. This is a very good place if you're traveling to Hongkong on a smaller budget and dont want to splash out too much money on your resident. And Chungking Mansion isn't as frightening as many people say.

Booked for 4 nights, left after 1 - possibly the worst place I have stayed in 6 months of travelling. Firstly check in is a nightmare with one reception managing the 10 or so 'guesthouses' the owners actually control. Don't expect any decent customer service either, I was shouted at and just asked for money. Then I was led to my bed which wasn't even fresh/clean and seemingly only given to me as it was the only free one in the room (which looked nothing like the pictures attached). To top things off there was no hot water and the wifi only worked when standing in the corridor. Do yourself a favour and pay a bit extra for one of the independently ran hostels in Hong Kong that actually take pride in their appearance and service. Simply awful and I don't think Hostel World should accept this dodgy practice of advertising multiple properties in the same building that in no way reflect the experience while staying here. Awful.
