really nice hostel well located in Oaxaca. Staff was really friendly and the atmosphere was very open. Good place for solo-travelers! Bar is nice and the breakfast is really good. showers and bathroom ok.

Front desk team was very helpful (dinner, drinks, & tour recommendations; taxis, massage appt; etc), esp. Daniel, who walked the cooking class (taught from the hostel kitchen) to a great market for supplies (Mercado de la Merced.) Access to refrigerator, filtered water, stove & microwave greatly appreciated. My room was very comfortable and well-cleaned. My only small complaint was cigarette smoke from the table under my room window late at night (I like to sleep with the window open.)

A clean and comfortable hostel, not the most social, a little difficult to make plans with people if travelling alone - lots of couples.
