Lotte Hostel is a unique old house. It is situated in the heart of old town Heidelberg and it's very close to the historic castle, the main shopping street, bars and restaurants. We are an independent hostel. Get to know our friendly staff and the owner and have a chat about who Lotte actually was.
This homely house offers eight guestrooms only, each with a stylistic individual interior decor and with an ambience of living-room cosiness of a family home.
On the ground and first floor of this lovely old house we offer you newly renovated and refurbished dormitory-style accommodation. One dorm is for girls only - they also have their own bathroom close by. Use our new grandma-style kitchen or the cosy living-room.
On the second floor you are welcome to choose from two 60's-style double-rooms and one 3-b

Absolutely wonderful place, the staff were super helpful and the atmosphere very welcoming. The location directly off Marktplatz in the city centre is also perfect.

På riktigt ett utav de bästa hostels jag bott på. Det är så himla mysigt, personalen är jättetrevlig, det är otroligt rent hela tiden, rummen är inte fullproppade med sängar utan det finns faktiskt plats att röra sig på, man behöver inte diska sin disk. Det ligger också jättebra till mitt i gamla stan där allt man vill se är. Jag skulle kunna fortsätta men jag avslutar med att det är ett sjukt bra hostel, tack Lotte!

This was my first stop on my month long trip and all I can say is AMAZING! It’s clean, spacious and feels like home. All the staff is suuuper friendly and the free cereal is super appreciated. As a young female solo traveler I couldn’t have felt safer. Thank you Lotte!
