Luz de Luna Nuyoo is a small Hostel located in a beautiful colonial house at only three blocks from the main plaza. As you walk in the hostel the first thing you will see is the central patio, decorated with a variety of regional plants and the traditional fountain in the center, a cool escape from the typical heat of Oaxaca. The patio ambience is the ideal place to relax in its hammocks, read or meet other fellow Travelers. We offer coffee in the morning.
We ask all our guest to respect nightime tranquility.
All our private double rooms are big and have a double bed and two individual beds in a bunk. The price listed is for 2 persons. All the private rooms have a capacity of four persons, a fee of 200 pesos per person extra aply.
We have cats that lives in the common areas.

Overall, it was a great stay! The staff is very friendly, they have a great patio to chill and enjoy the day. The place was clean and had good facilities. Totally reccomend it.

This was a perfect place to stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location felt safe and secure.
It had a fully stocked kitchen where many guests mingled. It was a quiet hostel at night, and didn’t have a party atmosphere (which we loved) but still possible to talk to others and make friends.
Overall an ideal location and lovely place to stay!

It’s a cute little hostel and I overall enjoyed my stay. The staff was very friendly but they only spoke Spanish. People generally kept to themselves and there’s no obvious space for social hangouts, which means you don’t really get to know one another. On the plus side there’s three cats who don’t mind a cuddle.
