Luzern som stad kanske inte var nÃ¥got mÃ¤rkvÃ¤rdigt men utsikten och miljÃ¶n runtomkring var fantastiskt. Vandrarhemmet hade ett bra lÃ¤ge med ca 5-10 min till sjÃ¶n. Man fick ocksÃ¥ nykel till sitt eget skÃ¥p vilket underÃ¤ttade. Dock var luzern och resten av schweiz vÃ¤ldigt dyrt vilket gjorde att vi ville ta oss dÃ¤rifrÃ¥n sÃ¥ fort som mÃ¶jligt. Det var knarriga trappor och badrummen var i ganska dÃ¥ligt skick. UtÃ¶ver det var personalen hjÃ¤lpsamma och stÃ¤mmningen Ã¶verlag lugn. 2.5 av fem toasters

During check-in the receptionist said the payment for the accomodation was already done as my credit card was charged before. They overcharged my CC. The difference can not be the local tax CHF1,90/night. The amount is CHF18. I booked twin room but was given room with bunk beds for four people. It was like travelling back in time. Old, shabby facilities. Fortunatelly I stayed only 2 nights.

We booked the private room with en suite and for the price we paid we expected something a little nicer. You only have tiny face towels unless you pay extra at reception but this was closed when we arrived. There is only one plug by the door. With no air con you must leave the windows open but this makes it very noisy. The best thing was the bed as this is comfy and sheets are nice quality.
