It is a good cost benefit. The walk from the bus station and main street (5th avenue) is not pretty, but feels safe b/c it is a busy street. It's on top of Oxxo store, stairs in the alley. AC is turned on only at 9pm, but it didn't feel hot to sleep. No place to hang your stuff in the shower, which was about to fall apart, water falling by the side. Lockers are small, fitting only a small backpack. People are nice and security okay, even though someone stole my coke from the fridge.

absolutely fantastic accomodations. I booked for 1 day and stayed a week. Great location a 3 minute walk to the beach close to the ADO bus station theirs plenty of great food places within walking distance. The staff is extremely hardworking extremely helpful with any questions you may have. Great value for sure. Thank you Hostel Tropico for a super clean super comfortable stay.
