Offering a fresh approach to affordable accommodation in chilled out Nuwara Eliya, Chilly Croc Hostel is ideal for intrepid travelers to Sri Lanka who don't want to compromise on creature comforts, atmosphere, cleanliness and quality.

The hostel has five bedrooms (dorms and private rooms) and is just 5 minutes from the main bus stop, and 20 minutes from Nanu Oya railway station by tuk tuk, a great location for exploring Nuwara Eliya and beyond.

With a nod to up cycling and sustainable living, our hostel is an early 20th century bungalow which was completely renovated before opening, bringing a modern twist to a classic colonial property. Think cottage vibes in Little England mixed with minimalist design and a relaxing space to stay between exploration of our misty tea-covered hills and waterfalls.

Our hostel is bright and airy, white walls and our houseplants reflect the lush landscape outside. You can't escape green in tea country!
