Casa Matia is big and spacious, with different areas to hang out, cook, enjoy a book or work remotely. It was furnished and decorated with the objective of making you feel at ease and inspired. For that reason we have art here and there.

Each room has it's own narrative and source of inspiration, so you can choose the experience you want.

Located in the heart of the city, Casa Matia offers you a super comfortable and complete stay. The house is located in the best zone in Guadalajara. Downtown, touristic landmarks, nightlife, the gentrified neighborhood, restaurants, cultural centers, are all walking distance.

Because we are a hostel it's very easy to get to know people, but due to the fact that the rooms are very big and private, you can also enjoy being by yourself.

Cancellation policy: 3 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

+++ Amazing location, good price, decently comfy bed, super clean common spaces (saw the cleaner every day or every other day), outside area (with outlets, chairs, hammock), very friendly/helpful staff. /// No complaints, but be aware sound travels through the house pretty easily. So bring earplugs if you're sensitive to noise. It wasn't super social if you're looking for that. But for me, it was the perfect place to chill and work. Wifi was OK for me/my work (no video calls). Cash only.

The staff is really nice and they helped me with everything I needed and the rooms are nice and clean. The shared bathrooms are also cleaned everyday and there was always an empty bathroom available. The location is really great because itâ€™s in the middle of everything. Itâ€™s not really a hostel atmosphere, but itâ€™s good if you want something quiet.
