Hello, Welcome to El cambuche del mono, we are a hostel located in a beautiful corner of Colombia where you will be surrounded by mountains, exotic birds, an atmosphere of peace and a diverse climate. Our hostel offers a very friendly environment, where you can taste a variety of exotic fruits, typical food, especially our “CHULETA” which is the specialty of the house and be very close to Las Pailas del Oso waterfalls, which are the most beautiful waterfalls in the Valle del Cauca being 12 waterfalls in a row and easily accessible 3 of them.
Our hostel has a swimming pool, a beautiful balcony with an exceptional view of the Valle del Cauca and outdoor kitchen available to you. We have a large dining room to share with other guests and areas where they can do picnics, exercise or yoga. We are 30 minutes from the municipality of Jamundí (Municipality originally recognized for its gastronomic offer such as Cholado, Fritanga, Raspao` and for having Olympic champions like Yuri Alvear) We are 5 minutes from a town called San Antonio, known for being a producer of Coffee (Yes, we are in a new coffee zone) where you will have the opportunity to visit coffee farms, see the coffee process and try special coffees from the area.
Our visitors are social people, explorers who want to feel a different environment, who want to connect with themselves and nature, who enjoy being at home, far from home. Age is not a condition for us, we hope that people who are willing to know the best of Colombia and the world visit us. We have different types of room, we have shared rooms with community bathroom, other private double bed with private bathrooms. Each room has its respective fan, however at night it is very cold. We have a balcony in the middle of trees which is perfect for having a coffee and reading from a good book. We are surrounded by nature, We have an outdoor outdoor kitchen to enjoy the breeze, the weather and the animals that surround us.
Our inspiration is the fauna and flora, you will see many species of orchids, exotic fruits, kinds of animals (especially birds) and flora.

Cancellation policy: 72h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 14:00 to 23:00 .
Check out before 12:00 .
Payment upon arrival by cash.
