Mapache Hostel

Mapache Hostel is where people from around the world meet to experience the best of Holbox Island. We proud ourselves on excellent customer service and to ensure that you feel welcomed from the moment you step into the hostel until you leave as a friend.

We are a smaller, cozy hostel compared to other bigger party hostels. We offfer different accommodation for individual travellers needs.

There are two mixed 6-bed dormitories with air conditioning, eight spacious tents with mattresses and fans covered by a huge palapa for rain and sun cover and our deluxe glamping option the Tipi huts with shared bathrooms.

We are the only hostel on the island that offers a good, changing breakfast included in the room rate. There are daily activities taking place to bring people together and to show you the best that Holbox has to offer.

Our staff ratings are excellent throughout the web as we really make an effort to helping you out where we can and making you feel part of our island family.
