At Kona Beach Hostel we strive to offer our guests the best experience while staying with us. Our staff members are very friendly and can provide you with information about the Big Island so you can make the most out of your experience in Hawaii.
We are located in the heart of downtown Kailua-Kona, steps from Kailua Pier, numerous bars, restaurants, shops, farmers markets, and numerous beaches. We are only 2.5 miles from the famous Magic Sands beach, directly across the street from Honls beach, and a 20 minutes drive from world famous snorkel, scuba, and hiking locations including Captain Cook trail head & monument, Two Step Bay, and Kealakekua Bay.
Our facilities include co-ed and female dormitories as well as private rooms, a fully equipped communal kitchen, shaded common areas to talk story, a BBQ grill, a laundry area, and Wi-Fi.

We checked in late with our 4 kids (they were in 1 room and we had one of our own) shared bathroom etc which was fine. Very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. The beds were a little hard but all together I highly recommend the place.

Such an amazing place! Really nice location, about 5 minutes walk to the beach and the center of town. The facilities are great and so well maintained and organized. Everything is clean and the staff really puts a lot of effort into making it look beautiful. A huge thank you to the staff Rachael, Marissa and her boyfriend for the warm welcoming and for just beeing such nice and friendly people. Would recommend this place to everyone and REALLY hope I can come back someday! Mahalo ❤
