Selina Tamarindo continues our tradition of sustainable properties that blend naturally with their environment. We seek to build community here, and daily activities like morning yoga, salsa lessons, and surfing classes do just that. Our common areas, like the swimming pool, kitchen, and playground with live music and DJ sets on the weekends are perfect for socializing and making friends. From ocean activities to tours of the jungle, Tamarindo has no shortage of things to do. Learn how to surf, go horseback riding on the beach, or put on a snorkel and mask to head below the water’s surface. Great hostel with superfriendly staff and amazing food. Right next to the beach and with a walking distance everywhere. A really nice bar/restaurants with fun ”events” every night. We really enjoyed our stay att Selena Tamarindo but the one thing we felt was missing was a ”hang-out place” where we could bring our own food or drinks. There was a common kitchen but somewhere outside would be great aswell. But all in all it was an amazing hostel to stay at!

The rooms was pretty okey, and all the facilities was very nice (the pool, bar and the pooltable)But we had the problem that our room was the closest to the bar, and for some reason they started loud music at litterally 7 in the morning. Some of the staff was really uninformed and not really helpful. We were promised to go an a hike at 5:30 in the morning, but there was no one there…

Nice hostel with a small pool and some places around it to chill / sunbathe. The kitchen is nice due to the ac, as it otherwise gets really hot in kitchens (in hot places). The bar was not much to talk about, closed earlier than it was supposed to (9:30) and turned off all the lights, so if you want to chill somewhere it’ll have to be in your room or outside the hostel. Close to the beach, restaurants, shops and bars.
