To be clear, we never stayed at Casa Olas, because on the afternoon of the day before we were supposed to stay there, Cesar told us they were overbooked and we needed to cancel our reservation. He initially didn’t give us a reason, and acted like it wasn’t a big deal, and it was as if he was going to do us a favor by not charging us for a late cancellation. I admittedly got upset, which was reflected in my email response, which led to him getting angry at me for being upset. REALLY????

Our stay at Casa Olas was most enjoyable. It was clean, comfortable and had a lovely garden. Our host was more than accommodating as it is a shared living space for him as well. The bus to Manuel Antonio is only about 10 minutes and the bus stop is very convenient. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you want to visit to Quepos or Manuel Antonio.
