First bed I was allocated was horrific, the springs were literally painful. I also woke up have 4 bed bugs crawling on me, I told the receptionist and showed a photo who confirmed it was bed bugs but didn't even go to check. I told another girl and she found some under her mattress too, disgusting. The staff also told me it wouldn't be necessary to wash my clothes (?!?), they did pay for it in the end but was not treated nicely.

Best hostel. Right in the central of merida

There is little water pressure for the shower and bathroom sink. This means that during my stay I wasn't able to take showers. When there was water, there was no hot water.
The first room I was assigned to was next to the street. There didn't seem to be wall between the outside and my room. It was noisy all night along. I couldn't sleep at all the first night and asked to be removed to a room away from the street side.
