Therefore, if you are arriving or leaving the country, Hostel Los Volcanes is your best choice to stay overnight at a low price. All rooms has TV Cable and fans. Pacaya, Fuego, Acatenango, from these and other Guatemalan volcanos, we have identified our rooms.

Perfect place to stay with early/late flights given 5 minutes drive from the airport. Accommodation is basic but there is a good kitchen/bathroom with everything required. They also kindly took me to the airport for my early flight which was amazing.

Stayed overnight here and have only good things to say! Paulino, the owner, is so gracious and kind. The neighborhood is a rough but it is gated, protected by police (who are actually really nice; don’t be alarmed), and the property itself is fortified. Hostel is 60 seconds from the airport and Paulino will drive you each way. They’ll even cook you breakfast! (Eggs, bread, beans, and coffee.) I would not stay longer than a night in the City but if I have an early flight again, I’m coming here!

Perfect hostel to stay if flying in or out of Guatemala airport. In a gated community so felt very safe. Receptionist lived in, lovely guy very helpful and free shuttles to the airport. Simple hostel but all that is needed for a quick stay before airport.
