The Emile Hostel is situated in the heart of town within walking distance of all tourist attractions, shopping area, restaurants, and just 30 seconds away from Casemates square where you have a variety of pubs. Here we have dormitory rooms, doubles and single rooms available.
Our facilities include 42 beds, showers, free linen and duvets, left luggage, tourist information, and other amenities. Our professional and friendly staff will provide you with excellent information on what to do and see. Excursions in Gibraltar, Spain and Morocco can also be arranged.
The hostel is a family operated business offering an excellent customer service in a relaxed and multicultural atmosphere.

Good things first: the location is really nice, you have a lot within a hundred metres. Really good showers are always appreciated.
The bad: the beds are extremely uncomfortable! You have a metal bar going across the middle of the bed that is killing all chances of good sleep. Also, there is no kitchen, not even a microwave. The communal area looks like a something from a prison, totally uninviting.

The security was poor? The door to the room was not locked at any time and the front door was not locked at night either and there was no locker in the room for my backpack? ! There was no fan in the room so it was steaming hot at night and was very hard to sleep! But Emile if thats was the owners real name was fantastic helpful in al kind of ways. The hostel was very close to the citycenter about 10 meters so thats was great.

Absolut vidrigt. Sämre standard än de lägst rankade hostelen i Indonesie. Smutsiga lakan. Bitter personal. Varken kök eller tvättanordning. Mögel i badrummen. Och noll säkerhet. På tok för dyrt för det du får. Ta endast in här om du förväntar dig ett härbärge.
