Located in the village of Cartajima, just 16km from Ronda in Andalucia, in the little known Alta Genal valley, the hostel benefits from local walks through resplendent valleys to neighbouring villages, with guided walks by a local expert also available. The area is a mountain bikers dream and popular with birdwatchers, artists and photographers alike.

A delightfully laid back atmosphere awaits in this traditionally built 300 year old hostel. Open all year accommodation consists of a dormitory located in a rustic chestnut beamed room, with two double rooms and a private twin bunk room also available.

One of my favourite stays in spain! Came here alone and felt totally safe and welcomed from the beginning. The hostel is beautiful and the location even more so, a perfect place for nature lovers. The owner is such a kind and interesting person and it felt like we had been friends for a long time. I recommend everyone to go here, it's an experience you don't want to miss! Thank you Botz for making my stay so amazing!

One of my favourite hostels through my trip in Andalusia and one in which I have recommended to many others along the way. It's amazing *because* it's not in Ronda, not *in spite* of that. Located in a small white village in the beautiful mountains, it is totally worth a stay. It boasts both a real sense of serenity and outdoors on the one hand but also a personable and gregarious host in Botz. Honestly, could not recommend it more for a unique experience in Spain to get away from the city trips
