As always this place is a fantastic Bohemian like community. A very cool and artistic looking facility or hostel. Great place to meet people and just hang out and sometimes it's more fun hanging out at this place than going into New Orleans. The hostel plans out all kinds of neat activities within the hostel and even bar crawls outside of the hostel. The hostel is located close to several stores where you can buy food both cooked and fresh. must do place if you enjoy the company of other people

This place is situated very close to the streetcar and it’s well worth a stay if you’re on a budget and want a nice place to hang out (lots of partying going on but it’s not mandatory to partake). Staff is super friendly and helpful - all our love to staff member who saw to our every need and with whom I instantly felt like I’ve been reunited with an old friend. Thanks! /Maria and John

I had a blast staying here. This hostel is very different from other hostels in the US, it feels more like a hostel in South East Asia or Latin America. It has an awesome vibe! It's really easy to meet other people here. If you stay at India House you will surely have a great time in Nola!
