Overall very nice hostel. Good location, close to many stores and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and chatty. We paid for a dorm but got a private room for the same price. However it is not the most social hostel. It was very hard to meet people, as there is no common room - there is a roof top terrace, but it was empty most of the time. But very great hostel if you just need a nice place to sleep. Nice breakfast too.

I had really nice & comfy stay in Thamel hostel & spa. Great location just few meters from thanel’s center , rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff is really helpful, kind & friendly, great roof top terrace & wonderful spa where you can get a massage after many days of trekking. Thanks to Ashish & staff to make it a pleasant stay
