The location is perfect, its a bit way from the center so its calm but the walk to the center is like two minutes. The staff was so nice and helpful and cooked amazing dinner. Nice toilets and good laundry. Best place in puerto viejo!

We really enjoyed our stay at Kalunai! The location is great near loads of bars and restaurants and around a 20 minute walk to Playa Cocles. The manager was very helpful and kind and was always around to answer any questions and give tips for where to go/what to do and how to get transport. The kitchen was well equipped and there’s a lovely social area with hammocks, seats and games. We stayed in a private room which although small had everything we needed and there were also lockers for all our important s
