My friend and I stayed in a dorm of 4 people. There were 2 fans, but since we weren’t allowed to open up the windows because of the monkeys, the room was very very hot and humid. The room was hotter than the temperature in the hallway, as well as outside. It was unbearable to sleep, and we ended up leaving early and finding another place. There was also no soap in all the bathrooms, for multiple days - which was incredibly gross

It's the perfect place if you jut want to spend a night in Kandy - it's close to the train station and to the main attractions there. It's more a homestay than a hostel (not very social) but clean and worth the money!
