It is an idyllic island retreat with exposed brickwork and stunning artwork on the common area. An ideal base to explore Langkawi. Well within the budget for any discerning travelers that seeks peaceful nights under the moon, hence the name Rembulan which means The Moon in English language.
Rembulan has 4 appointed private rooms built tastefully and also a 8 bedded custom built double deck bed dormitory. All area are also equipped with ceiling fans for those who like the gentle breeze.The common space is created to get everyone mingling together so that each moment is cherished by you travelers!

I booked one night at this hostel and wanted to extend more nights but it was full booked though. The staffs were really nice and friendly and gave you tips on what you can do on the island. The only bad thing is that there is no locker for the dorm to lock your things or backpack. The hostel is around 5 min walk from the beach and the main event which is silence for a good night sleep.

Great location and nice hosts! Every bed had their own lamp and plug. A new hostel that was very fresh and clean.
Didn’t have any security at all, no lockers to the room and no safety box or something to have your valuables in. And you can barely call it a breakfast, it was only toast and jam.
Overall we still had a good visit at Rembulan but they can improve the safety and the breakfast.
