Quirky beach hostel in the south coast of Sri Lanka offering you the space to surf, meet, mix, play or do some yoga. Whether you are traveling solo or with your crew Beatroot got you covered. Our uber comfortable bedding, colorful social spaces and mouthwatering food will make you feel right at home!
The hostel hosts 22 beds: three 6 bed mixed dorms and one 4 bed female dorm. Cozy bedding, fluffy pillows, free towels, international sockets for your devices, reading light for each bed, air conditioning to beat the heat and free wi-fi to all our guests to stay connected!

I really liked this place! Good vibe and they had movie night and awesome yoga! Comfy beds and a good café. close to beach and main road😀 thanks a lot! ☀️☀️☀️

Beeeeatroot. Very chill hostel. Awesome breakfast. Good vibe and social for solo backpackers. Shihan (spelling?), the owner, is pretty terrible at rage cage (drinking game) but he makes up for it by being an overall cool dude. And Jennifer (also staff) is great! She makes amazing smoothie bowls and LOVES to go out to cheeky monkey (ask her to take you!).
PS: Would not recommend any champagne poppin’ girl groups to stay here. It’s just not for you. Everyone else will have a great stay!
