Casa Machupicchu Hostel has 13 rooms, 4 of them have a beautiful view to Vilcanota river. We are located at five minutes walking from the train station. We offer the following services: free wi-fi, continental breakfast, hot water 24 hours, business center, drinks (beer, water, soda, juice, Tampico) and all information available about Machu Picchu Town and tourist information.

We have a terrace with river view and TV, free storage, free infusions, free wifi, free business center and free use of microwave, rice cooker, electric skillet and electric kettle. All our rooms have 2 bunk beds and 4 lockers.

The location is good, close to the station. The staff wasn’t rude, but when I checked in I told them I wouldn’t return from Macchu pichu until after their official checkout time and asked if that was acceptable since I would just be picking up my bag.
They said yes.
Then on checkout they charged me for ab extra day.
My Spanish is pretty good so there wasn’t a miscommunication. It just felt like they were taking advantage of tourists.

The room was quite dirty - there was garbage throughout the room that was never removed from previous guests and we got bit by bugs overnight. The room was damp and smelled of mildew. There are large moths flying throughout the hostel, spiders in the bedrooms, and a bad mosquito/sand fly problem. It felt more like camping than staying in a hostel. Would definitely not stay there again.

Pretty average. Bathrooms everyday and fresh bed sheets for new people but the whole hostel felt pretty dirty. Could only lock the bedroom from the inside, no key to lock when leaving, there were big lockers for your bags in your room. Breakfast was literally a bread roll. WiFi was pretty pants. The hostel is located right on the train tracks which shakes the whole building every 20 minutes. There’s also a gushing river on the other side of the hostel which is nice but so loud. Hot water though.
