Stayed at Mango Garden for three nights (maybe one too much), two days in Kandy would have been enough. The staff is very friendly and helpful! The room is very basic but clean. There is a restaurant (but serve no beer) with very good food.
I recommend this place!

Facilities and atmosphere are a bit disappointing, shower wasn't working properly, wifi was really bad as well and no AC in the room. Location is not bad though, conveniently close to the lake, staff was very friendy and helpful but overall wouldn't really recomment this place, no other backpackers here, dorm room was disappointing, could be that the private rooms are better cause it's more of a hotel than a hostel really
