The location and the staff were great, but the overall hostel not so much. The facility is VERY dated. the walls are extremely thin and having the gap under the door definitely doesn’t help with noise. I literally sounded like running water at the head of my bed when someone used another bathroom or sink.
I kept finding hair that did NOT belong to me and it was disgusting.
I did not sleep well at all. Between the outside noise, the hallway noise, the running water sound and the uncomfortable bed, it was

Hostal Ràdio has truly the nicest staff you can imagine. So friendly and helpful! Great location in the midst of Barcelona. Rooms look like the photos.

Acceptable budget hotel if you don't have any other options. Staff is very friendly and helpful and location is great, but the building is old and the hallways and elevator are tiny. It's hard to move around with big bags. Furniture is uncomfortable. There is very little sound insulation so you can hear everything going on in the room next to you.
