This hostel is great for those of you prone to some outdoor fun. Just a short walk from Interlaken-Ost Railway Station (ideal for cold winters!) and close to the Jungfrau Mountains, staying here means you?re well connected for travelling around Interlaken and you?ll have the chance to enjoy a spectacular view. The kitchen has some great facilities and there?s a supermarket just two minutes away if you?re working with a budget and need to buy your own supplies. If you opt for the hostel breakfast, expect a traditionally Swiss affair, with fruit, cereal, salami and toast.

As a guest at our youth hostel in the heart of the Bernese Oberland, you'll find public transport right at your doorstep which can take you to the most stunning sights on Lakes Brienz and Thun as well as in the Bernese Alps. Backpackers, families and other adventurers don't just benefit from the affordable rates here, but can also start their next trip by bus, rail or boat directly from the hostel. From up high, wherever you go, you have a fascinating view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfraujoch, or the Aletsch Glacier – the largest in the Alps. In summer, Interlaken emerges as a paradise for fans of the great outdoors, such as paragliders and river rafters, and it's most popular for lovers of winter sports.

Switzerland is expensive, so realistically the price of this place couldn't be any less even though it's more than hostels in other countries. Breakfast great, rooms modern, screen separating sink/lockers from beds is a great idea. One of the nicest 'normal' hostels I've stayed in out of probably about 20 others.

It was a good hostel in a great location right next to the train starion. It was super busy though as there were two kontiki tours and what looked like a few school trips so it was packed. There was only one washing machine too which there was a long line for
