Located within the heritage city of George Town Penang, 111 Hutton Lane is a guest house that welcomes all travellers from around the globe to have a warm stay.
Previously a historic hotel with Early Modern-style architecture building. Upon starting operation since October 2022, the building has been restored with a modern yet minimalistic touch, filled with natural sunlight - offering a clean and cosy vibe to our guests. It only takes a 5 - 10 minutes walking distance from our building to visit George Town's UNESCO sites and places of attraction, discovering street arts, cafes, food haven places and even night markets.
Feel almost like home at 111 Hutton Lane, with comfortable beds and facilities, 2 Instaworthy common areas provided within the building - furnished with LED TV and bean bags to sit back and relax on some lazy evenings; a dining table and couple of tables and chairs to eat or even work with your computer.
Our shared bathrooms are equipped with clean toilets (bidets and toilet papers), hot showers, big mirrors, and hairdryers.

- Payment upon arrival by cash

Had very mixed impressions of this hostel. Cool building, helpful staff and good rooms. There was a smoking area indoors, no doors to the hostel and children playing hide and seek at 03:00am one night (Very disturbing when trying to sleep). Also a lot of noise from the road outside. The main door is usually locked and a small side door must be used, very difficult to find the first time. There was no kitchen or fridge. Okey hostel.

I didn’t really rate this hostel. Besides no doors on the dorm rooms (which also has no windows), the staff weren’t really helpful and were either always taking over the communal spaces, or gone for hours on end and uncontactable. There’s no atmosphere and the staff had quite a rude attitude.
