Utulivu Hostel is perfect for solo travelers, small groups, or families. We provide the comforts of home, while also including aspects of Tanzanian life and culture.

We offer 24/7 support and security for our guests, and can help with coordinating any travel or activities while in the country.

We are situated in a great location, just a short walk to the main road, where public transportation can take you anywhere you desire, or, we can provide transportation to you. We offer free parking on site.

Utulivu Hostel has so much to offer with a beautiful view of Mount Meru, relaxing garden, free wifi, and breakfast included.

Utulivu Hostel Terms & Conditions:

Cancellation policy: 2 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Check-in time after 2pm, Check-out time 11am

Payment upon arrival by cash, credit & debit cards.
This property may pre-authorize your card before arrival.

Pets allowed only with prior approval
Each guest is allowed two visitors, with prior approval. No unregistered guests allowed overnight
Movies/books/games are for use at the Utulivu Hostel, please ensure items are returned and kept in good condition
Please let us know if there are any issues immediately (plumbing, water, cleanliness, etc)
Please clean up after yourself, and don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms
Be respectful of other guests (in regards to noise, common area activities, etc)
Please take care of the furnishings. You will be charged for any damages incurred.
Key replacement fee of $5 USD
No illegal substances allowed on the property
No guns or other weapons allowed
