Very disorganised and chaotic hostel. The reception was not manned, the cleaning lady had to take care of everything. The owner did not show up even after repeated calls. When we finally met him at check out we were able to pay. He was very unfriendly and told us he had been waiting for us.
Overall, there was no welcome, everything was a big mess and the kitchen was unfortunately quite dirty.
At one point my bed was double booked so another guest had to change rooms during the night.
It is not very hospitable when the check in times are given as 3pm-2pm and then in that time, with any luck, someone comes to take the money and leaves with such a comment.

Don't stay here. Terrible experience: booked 2 rooms, only got 1. Unpolite staff, refused to recognize mistake. Promised extra bed but none there. Left my belongings in room, but manager took them without permission, said I hadn't paid. Even though I paid deposit on Hostel World; they were asking me to pay full price in cash! Avoid this hostel, plenty of better options nearby.

My first time in Panama as well as La Choza playa venao. It is a beautiful location close to the water and all the amenities you’re looking for or need. Idor and Mina are generous people who constantly making sure your doing well and safe. If your looking to meet new people and have the best time ever I highly recommend this Hostel.
