The magical views, doorways, palaces, churches, and mosaics are generally well preserved and tell a unique story of thousands of its 2700 year old history. The city shows the layers of continuous populations from different cultures and traditions (Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Normans, Swabians, Angevins, Aragonese, etc..). Located just of Via Maqueda is our street Via Del bosco.

Rambling adventures await, exploring all the cobbled back streets and hidden gems navigating is easy from our location. Returning each day to Via Maqueda with its many attractions including Piazza Pretoria and Quantro Canti come share an evening meal with us provided by top local chefs to rejuvinate before hitting the nightlife of Palermo.

Had a great stay here! Amazing beds and super friendly staff! Lack of a meeting area with all the travelers.

Dorm rooms and bathrooms are nice and clean, a light but no electronic plug or cellphone recharger at each bed. (One multi/plug strip in center of room.) They do have privacy curtains ðŸ‘ðŸ‘. AC very good and essential in Palermo. Better than average dorm rooms. Quiet at night.
Common area indoor is very small but a nice outdoor common area. Breakfast is limited but ok, could have a pot of coffee as espresso is the only caffeine option. Joseppe & Maria are very helpful.

Staff and owner were lovely. Good value and clean. Lock for for locker and luggage storage the next day were free, unlike other low cost options in Palermo. Very close to Ballard market which is a lot of fun, delicious street food options
