Farol da Barra is wonderful and very close to great beaches and restaurants. The facilities were comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The overall vibe of the hostel is very inclusive and loved that! I would 100% recommend this hostel to anyone looking to explore Salvador. The location is perfect and the staff is amazing!

The place was alright if you need a place to spend the night! The rooms are almost too small for the number of beds so the rooms are super crowded. No area to socialize either so if you are just passing by then it’s fine.
