Tambopata River, El Tambopata Amazon Hostel offers affordable accommodation and common facilities with shared bathroom. The main room has hammocks, We have private rooms with double beds, The common kitchen is large and has various utensils, refrigerator, crockery and cutlery.

- Mandatory: For check-in it is mandatory to present original identification (passport, citizenship card or foreigner).
- At the time of check-in you can make the payment only in cash
- the activities are paid
- Free Internet. (We know that 1 Mbps is not enough, but it is a lot for communication in the jungle with our friends and family).
- Visits from outside the hostel are not allowed.
- We provide bedding, pillows and towels, and we change them if you request it when your stay exceeds 3 days.
What we DO NOT offer:
- Breakfast.
- Foods
- Store
- Alcoholic drinks
- Shower with hot water.
- Air-conditioning.
- 24 hour reception.

A great place to get away from everything. The owners were very nice and drove me into town each morning and drive me back after tours. It was great to fall asleep to the sounds of the jungle and night monkeyies checking you out.

For the price, I am very happy with this place. These people are still recovering from Covid shut downs and their efforts show strong. It’s very close to the city but far enough to still feel peaceful.

I loved my stay here. It's perfect if you want to relax in the middle of the jungle. A lot of monkeys are living around. A perfect hostel to disconnect. The owners are lovely as well.
