General Group Booking Terms

By making a group reservation through Hostelworld.com you agree to the following terms and conditions as set by Hostelworld.com and as set by the hostel in question.

  • In order to make a group reservation on Hostelworld.com it is necessary to pay a deposit. The balance is due directly to the hostel according to their payment conditions.
  • The booking deposit is non-refundable.
  • Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival date, unless otherwise stated in the hostel's conditions.
  • Hostelworld.com are not responsible for changes or amendments to your reservation once it has been processed. All correspondence with regard to changes to your booking need to be dealt with directly with the hostel.
  • Cancellations for reservations must be made directly with the hostel and must conform with the individual hostels cancellation policy (see below)
  • It is your responsibility to pay the balance of your accommodation cost to the hostel in accordance with their payment conditions (see below). Failure to do so may result in your reservation being cancelled by the hostel.
  • Individual hostels may have special booking conditions relating to group stays, please read the hostel booking conditions carefully before making your reservation.

Hostel Specific Terms & Conditions

The remainder of the amount due will be charged to your credit card on arrival. Should numbers or room selection change, the per person deposit times the number of people who actually travelled will be deducted from the total accommodation charge levvied by the hostel.

Any cancellations resulting from agreement to these terms and conditions under false pretences will result in loss of deposit.

The Travel Hub Guesthouse is conveniently located close to the City Center in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Our lobby and accommodations are all handsomely appointed with comfortable furnishings blended with the modern conveniences of today.

Our guests are provided with free Wifi, Internet access, air conditioning, and all conveniences. We also provide free breakfast, tea and coffee (unlimited). Plus a friendly staff is always available to assist you.

We arrange airport drops but cannot do airport pickups.
Please print out the directions to the Travel Hub - this will help the taxi driver.

Confirming a booking

Bookings made online may be subject to differing terms and conditions at the time of booking. This is to protect your security in carrying out the booking and providing credit card details over the internet. As for group bookings, a 50% booking deposit is required to confirm the booking. An email from the administrative department of Travel Hub Guesthouse will be sent to you along with an invoice and also the banking details for the transfer. We are allowed to void any bookings necessary and an a notification email will be sent to you before the date of arrival. For the guesthouse to be overbooked, we will refer you to another guesthouse which are at the equal booking rate.

Cancellation by the Guest

We are a small business, so cancellations can have a big impact on us, especially if we have turned away potential guests in favour of someone who has already booked and who then cancels. We do, however, appreciate that unforeseen circumstances can intervene, and we try to be as sympathetic and helpful as possible in such cases. In the event of a cancellation up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled date of arrival no charge will be made. If you cancel your reservation within 24 hours of the scheduled date of arrival a cancellation charge equivalent to the room(s) single night rate will be made. Guests failing to arrive, without notification, may be responsible to a charge equivalent to the total reservation price.

Check-in & Check Out Policy

Check-In Time: 1400hrs - 0000hrs Check Out Time: 1200hrs

Early check-In or Late-Check out is subjected to bed/room availability on the relevant day, to be reconfirmed with the front office staff. A levy is chargeable for early check-in from 0700 to 1200 hours and late check-out from 1200 to 1800 hours. Room not occupied by 2200 hours will be seen as No Show, unless prior arrangement has been made. Upon check out, the room key has to be given back to the reception in order to be given back the key deposit.

Stay Extension

To request for an extension, please do so one day before you leave before 5pm. Failure to do so would not guarantee you a spot. Extension is also based on availability and you will be charged the desk rate. Rates which are obtained from the internet in the initial booking may not be considered.

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed in all of the rooms in the guesthouse. Designated areas at the bar and the guesthouse smoking area is only permitted for smoking.

Damages and Breakages

Please take care when staying in our home. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. We ask is that you do report any incidents when they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may charge you for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant. Eating meals in rooms is not allowed as they can leave lingering smells and can cause staining if the food comes into contact with bedding or carpets etc. Consumption of alcohol is not permitted in your rooms.

Keys

You have access to the building and your room 24 hours a day throughout your stay using a set of keys given to you when you register on arrival. You have full responsibility of these keys for the duration of your stay. Lost keys will be charged at RM10.00 per set. Request to open your door by the reception requires a payment of Rm 10.

Liability

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of Visa regler för boendet
