Had a great stay here! The staff are really friendly and it has a great atmosphere. They have a lot of activities like the free suppers (really good) and evening activities that a lot of people attend, so it’s really easy to meet people. They have AC, which is sooo needed in Seville and they control it at night so you don’t have to battle back and forth with your roommates.

Nice and clean hostel with good AC if you ask for it (seriously needed in Valencia)! The hostel is in a pretty quiet neighbourhood about a 10 minute walk away from the busier restaurant/bar area and it’s right close to the massive river park. The atmosphere seems a lot like groups travelling for the weekend and not much for backpackers.
Hi Kara! Thank you for your comments. We are glad to hear that you had a good stay with us. We hope you can visit us again soon, it would be great to see you again. Hugs!

We enjoyed our stay here! The place feels quite new and super clean. Rooms have amazing AC and comfy beds with the curtain and plugs at the bed, so you can get a good sleep if you’re sober or happened to be out late! Also, location is great for everything besides the beach, but that’s only a quick scooter ride away!

Good for what you usually pay for in a good location in Split! Beds are comfy, but are the typical shaky metal frames. The place is decently clean, but the bathrooms make the room smell bad. Not much of an atmosphere, but it’s a good place to set up a base for a couple of days.
Dear guests, Thank you very much for your comment. We are doing our best to keep the hostel clean and comfortable and when it comes to atmosphere, that depends on our guests. Regards

Had an awesome stay here! The place has a great atmosphere and much needed AC in the common area and rooms! Take the tour if it’s available!

Spent one night here and really enjoyed my stay! The hostel is basically brand new so everything is super clean and the beds are comfy. The free towels and breakfast was a nice touch as well. It’s about a 15 minute walk from the old town, but think of it as your exercise for the day!

Really enjoyed my stay here! The place is super cozy and relaxed and the beds are so comfy. Only fault is it doesn’t have wifi, but you can literally hang out for as long as you want in the hotel nearby if you need it! Also, if you’re taking the bus to Tara and don’t have data like me, there’s about 3 stops in Tara, but wait until the bus driver kicks you off and then it’ll only be a 5 minute walk.

Awesome atmosphere, AC, and curtains around the beds! About 20 mins walk from the bus station and good location for the tourist attractions.

Overall I enjoyed my stay, but I didn’t do much besides sleep! It’s about 5 minutes to the river/15 minutes to the Temple bar area, but it is RIGHT NEXT TO the train so bring earplugs. The bathrooms, rooms, and kitchen are clean and the breakfast is decent. I would rank this hostel higher if they would change the bunks to the sturdier wooden bunks and screw down parts of the old wooden floors . Also, this is the first hostel in 7 months that hasn’t had at least small free lockers in the rooms.

Had an awesome stay here! The hostel’s beds are bigger than normal, there’s AC, great kitchen, and nice private showers. Owner really wants to make sure everyone is enjoying their time there which makes it a really nice atmosphere. Also, I’d highly recommend the Mount Etna tour with the owner, but if you’re hoping to go on a specific day email him in advance!

Had a good stay here, but it is definitely geared more towards vacationers than backpackers! The hostel has big rooms/lockers, comfy beds, ac, and a nice rooftop area! They have a nice bar area that could potentially be good, but seeing as they don’t put on any events, everyone just heads into Sorrento instead. On top of it being on the more pricey side, they charge 9 euros for a load of laundry, 5 euros for a cup of ice, have realllyyyy subpar breakfast, and no kitchen.

I only stayed for a night between arriving at the airport and headed south, but it was good for one day! Beds are the typical creaky/shaky metal bunks, but at least the bathrooms are nice and renovated. Wifi is the worst I’ve had in 5 months of travelling NZ, Oz, and SE Asia, but maybe that’s because I was on the 5th floor! Other than that, kitchen was okay, but is lacking in space and basic utensils like spoons.

Had a great stay here - by far the best hostel to stay at in Cyprus! It’s about a 10 minute walk from Nissus beach, but George was nice enough to take us around to the Sea Caves and Cave Greco! We had a family bbq supper a couple of the nights that I was there and everyone went out together afterwards.

Good hostel if you need to stay in Limmosol! It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and a grocery store only a couple minutes away. Majority of the people staying there were working in Limmosol, so just be aware that it’s not much of a backpacker hostel. I had a nice and relaxing stay either way and I was happy to be able to cook for myself!

Loved our stay here! Large rooms with comfy beds, privacy curtains, and lockers. The rooftop patio and lounge area is a nice place to hang out. Also, they have free laundry (pay for soap)!

Had a great stay here! Super close to the gardens/restaurants and the staff are really friendly and helpful! Only comment is it says on Hostelworld that towels are free, but we paid a small amount for them. Not a big deal as it was cheap, but might be less confusing for other travellers if they just take that off of Hostelworld!

Awesome place to stay if you want an atmosphere and to have some (or a lot of) drinks! We went on the pub crawl and had way too good of a time. The staff are friendly and everything is pretty clean. Also there’s a pizza place for cheap right beside the hostel if you don’t feel like cooking! Only complaint was the beds are the typical super shaky metal frames, but the mattresses were at least comfy!

We just spent a night here after hiking in Tirol so we didn’t spend much time here other than to sleep, which is what we were looking for! Really nice, spacious, and clean rooms with comfy beds! It takes about 20 minutes with transit to get to the hostel, which isn’t the worst. Also, if you’re looking for a cheap meal, IKEA is only a 15 minute walk away!
Dear K thank you very much for your feedback and high rating. We are glad that you liked our hostel and we are looking forward to welcome you again :) Greetings from Innsbruck Marmota Team

Great place to stay if you are looking to chill out for a couple of days by yourself or with your friends! The rooms are huge and both the bathroom and rooms are super clean! The only downside is there is no atmosphere to this place as there is no common room. To be fair, I was the only one staying in the room at the time, so it might be more social at a different time of year!

Rooftop bar has a good vibe and they try to round up everyone for happy hour! Nice bathrooms, lockers, and beds. Only complaint was the AC in our room was really weak compared to other rooms.
Thank you for taking the time to write your review. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us, as we strive to improve with each and every stay. Definitely, our Rooftop bar is the highlight of our hostel where you get to meet fellow backpackers and spend a splendid time drinking and enjoying all together. :) We had fixed the Air-conditoner issue, it is now functioning normally. Thank you so much for such a lovely review. We would love to welcome you back with an open arms!

Great place to stay for the Trang An River boat tours and not far from the Tam Coc lookout point by bike! The food was good from the hostel and they have a cute area to sit by the river. The real plus was that they shipped our friends passports back to Hanoi by 9am the next day allowing us to not have to miss our next bus!

Stay here for the amazinngggg beds! Our only complaint was there are no curtains in between beds and the divider between you and a possible stranger is only 1 ft tall. Free breakfast is good and supper is average depending on what you order.

Great place to stay for the whale shark watching! We were the only two people staying in the dorm when we were there and they made setting up the watching way too easy for us. Great ac, beds aren’t bad, and a nice quiet location. Only thing I’d suggest is making sure you have enough cash on you before you come to Oslob as there’s only 1 atm in town!

Loved our stay here! We were debating between here and Mad Monkeys, but this was so close to White Beach that we chose here. It has a great atmosphere for drinking and meeting people at night, but everyone has to leave by 10:30 so you can still get a good sleep if you need to take a night off! Free pasta night on Wednesday was a nice perk as well.

We only stayed here for one night between the ferry from Coron and heading to the airport, but wish we would have stayed here when we were previously in El Nido! Good atmosphere, clean room with AC, and free breakfast. Only thing that I could complain about was that they play music/karaoke until around midnight so if you have an early morning like us, it’s not ideal, but definitely not that bad!

READ ALL OF THE REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING! Also, please read all of the unprofessional comments the owner is writing back to travellers who are leaving a fair review. No running water in any of the rooms, stray cats living in our room, and bunk beds that force you to spoon strangers is what you can expect here. If the owner would stop giving free wifi/other incentives for leaving a 10/10 review, there wouldn’t be so much backlash about having “Flashpackers” stay here.
My comments are always the same you were cheap and you expect gold for the price of copper. Someone cheap like you should have listened to me and stayed in another place either one that I own or somewhere else but you insisted that having the cheapest room was the only important thing. Cheap Charlet. These is running water when the city has it its a city wide propbem for eveyone here and as far as the cats are concerned people dont close the door (probably you)

Love it here! Big comfy beds in the dorms, nice pool, and great food! Only wish is that they would bring back the banana pancakes that they had during my first stay here at the end of 2017!!

Overall awesome place to stay! Was only going to stay for 4 nights and extended to over a week. Great location right on the beach, nice pool, and kitchen. Only complaint is that the kitchen closes for the 2nd clean of the day at 10pm and doesn’t reopen until 730am the next day. If you want to grab one more drink before quiet time or cold water from the fridge, they spray you with soap. Also, if you have an early bus to catch you have to grab your stuff the night before with no ac in the rooms.

We enjoyed our stay here and it’s super clean! Doesn’t have much of an atmosphere for socializing, but it’s not a far walk from some of the bars.
Hi there, thanks for rating and reviewing our hostel, we are pleased you found the property really clean, we will pass this onto the housekeeping team. We do have some activities on in the hostel for those who want to stay in otherwise Auckland does offer a number of other options for our customers. Steve - Area Manager

Would not recommend staying here unless you would like to stay in the world’s dirtiest hostel. The bathrooms looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years and everything in the kitchen and rest of the place is so old it seems dirty. They also must have a lot of fish flies here, which is fine because they are harmless, but can you not just get screens for the windows so we can have some ventilation at night? The only redeeming quality is the pool.

One of the better hostels we’ve stayed in in New Zealand! Free towels and real quality built bunks that don’t creak all night. We had a lot of early mornings so we didn’t participate in the nightly activities, but that probably would have helped us meet more people! Besides that they have a common tv room that no one was very talkative in and a nice park to enjoy the weather across from the hostel!

I would say I got what I paid for. It was a nice location really close to the bus/ferry station and in close proximity to the old town. There's no common room in the place so it's pretty hard to meet anyone in the hostel unless you happen to luck out and get great roommates. Overall, I would probably recommend spending only a little more to stay somewhere with a better hostel setup.

To spell it out: the rooms are in cabins/shacks that have no windows and only a loud fan to blow the hot air around. The beds might be alright to sleep on if you're blackout drunk, but if not it was nicer to sit on the pool chairs. The pool area is really nice and that combined with the hostels' proximity to some beaches are probably the only redeeming qualities, but if you're on a budget in Mykonos there isn't a whole lot of choice on the island.

This place is in a great location in Fira! They had an outdoor and indoor common area, which was great for meeting people, but the wifi was absolutely brutal (can't get it in the rooms or at night in the common area when everyone is on it) and hopefully they will be improving that! The pool was really nice to relax by, but the rooms I'd say we're average at best.

I could not have been any more excited when I entered my 4 bed dorm room! It is adorable with the loft and is so spacious! There are three very long staircases to climb, but it really isn't that bad. Also, the air conditioning was awesome, but only turns on at night which was fine for me. The one issue I had was I woke up on my last day with multiple bites around my face, neck, and arms, but could definitely have just been from a mosquito in the room as they seem to love me.

Had an awesome time here and met some great people! The common area/bar/restaurant is really nice, but if you're looking to cook your own food it is not allowed. The dorm rooms were nice and quiet and although they had bunk beds, were sturdy and comfortable. Also, the locker is under the bed and can be pulled out so it's really convenient to grab stuff quickly out of your backpack. Definitely would stay here again!
Dear Guest, Thank you for your recent review. Great to hear you enjoyed your stay and thank you for the positive comments. Hope to see you again in the near future. Kind regards Venice Team
