Praça do Rossio is one of the most famous plazas in all of Portugal as it is in Lisbon city center, Baixa (downtown), therefore you'll find it easy to get transportation to here from anywhere in the city.

From Lisbon Airport:
Take bus number 44 or 745 for €1.55 and get off at Praça do Rossio. Journey time is 30 minutes.
Alternately, take Aerobus 91, running between 7.40am and 8.45pm, with a journey time of about 20 minutes. Fare is €3.50. Your bus stop is Praça do Rossio.
Our street - Calçada do Carmo - has two money exchanges at the corner. The hostel is in the first block at the second door on the right. The door number is 6. Go up to the second floor, right-hand door. You're at Rossio Hostel!

If you take a taxi it should take about 15 minutes and cost €10 - €15, depending on the hour and day of the week. Always ask for a receipt. Ask the driver to drop you at Praça do Rossio at 'Cafe Nicola' and in one minute walking in the direction of the statue (in Cafe Nicola's same side) we are on the first street left, just in front of the statue.

From Santa Apolónia Train Station:
Take the blue line on the metro in the direction of Amadora Este. Get off at Restauradores. The journey time is 5-8 minutes and the fare is €1.55. In Restauradores metro station, follow the signs for Rua 1 de Dezembro and D. Pedro IV Rossio. Our street - Calçada do Carmo - has two money exchanges at the corner. The hostel is in the first block at the second door on the right. The door number is 6. Go up to the second floor, right-hand door. You're at Rossio Hostel!

You can also take a taxi or bus from the train station to our hostel. Bus number 9, 47, 746 or 759 cost €1.40 and take ten minutes. A taxi is also ten minutes and costs more or less €6. Always ask for a receipt. Ask the driver to drop you at Praça do Rossio at 'Cafe Nicola' and in one minute walking in the direction of the statue (in Cafe Nicola's same side) we are on the first street left, just in front of the statue.

From Gare do Oriente Train Station:
Take the red line on the metro to Alameda, then change to the green line going in the direction of Cais do Sodré. Get out at Rossio station. The journey time is about 20 minutes and costs €1.55. After exiting the metro station you're at Praça do Rossio. Our street - Calçada do Carmo - has two money exchanges at the corner. The hostel is in the first block at the second door on the right. The door number is 6. Go up to the second floor, right-hand door. You're at Rossio Hostel!

From Sete Rios Train Station / Bus terminal:
Take the blue line on the metro in the direction of Santa Apolónia and get off at Restauradores. This should take about 20 minutes and cost €1.55.
